Understanding the Process
What Is Suboxone Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder?
We understand the challenges of overcoming opioid use disorder. Our Suboxone treatment program provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery. As certified Suboxone prescribers, we offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in conjunction with individual counseling and support services. Suboxone helps to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allowing you to focus on your recovery journey. Our compassionate team is dedicated to helping you achieve long-term sobriety and reclaim your life.
Is This Right for You?
Who Is It For?
Suboxone treatment is for individuals who are struggling with opioid use disorder, including dependence on prescription opioids, heroin, or other opioid substances. It is appropriate for people who are motivated to pursue recovery and are willing to engage in both medication management and counseling. You do not need to be at a crisis point to seek help — reaching out early often leads to better outcomes. We welcome individuals at any stage of their recovery journey, whether you are just beginning to consider treatment or have tried other approaches in the past.
Your Experience
What to Expect
Your first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Your provider will review your history with opioid use, your overall health, any co-occurring mental health conditions, and your goals for recovery. If Suboxone is appropriate for you, your provider will explain the medication, how it works, and what to expect during induction. Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled weekly at first, then monthly as you stabilize. Counseling is integrated into your care from the beginning, addressing the psychological and behavioral aspects of recovery alongside the medical.
